As we join this story in progress, Ida has already given water to her rocking dinosaur, and offered water to Nayuka on the couch and in the livingroom. She has followed Nayuka with the water down the hall into the back bedroom.

You can bring a dog some water...
...but you can't make her drink.

Mama's Helper
Ida was very interested in Mama's vacuum the other day, and after a while went to get her own "vacuum" to help out.

Local Kicksled Doubles Champions Arrive at Galena
In the local sport of small team dog mushing while carrying a baby, the standout performers are without a doubt are the ladies of Team Bodony. They are also the only performers, as far as we know.
The local photo wizard Paul Apfelbeck captured their return to Galena after a short trip in the woods recently. He happened to be driving down the road while this scene unfolded.

Also of note: Ida is 14 months old today. And Tim and Karin have been married for 2 years and 7 months.

Trip to Camp - part one
Taking advantage of the warm (+10F) weather, we left Friday afternoon for an overnight trip to the cabin. Nayuka and Budger brought Karin on skis and Ida in the ski-pulk from the end of the road.

Ida hangs out with her "D-bear" in the pint-sized camp chair that she was convinced was a rocking chair.
Here is Ida next to her ski-pulk. Tim joined us on the snow-go a few minutes after this picture was taken. It was a balmy +17 at camp!
